A compiler is a tool that translates your source code (C++) into an executable file
that can run on your computer. C++ compilers are freely available.
Instructions are provided (via the links below) to install a C++ compiler on your computer,
with a walkthrough of using the compiler to compile and run a simple C++ program.
Select the instructions corresponding to your operation system (Mac or Windows).
Contact the instructor or teaching assistant for your course if you have difficulty
installing or using the compiler.
